Who I Built Embody Her For — And Why

I've already talked about why I built Embody Her.
Now I want to talk about who I built it for.
Women. Full stop.
Anybody can listen to these thought posts — but Embody Her Collective is a women's community, and I'm intentional about that. Because when you try to speak to everybody, you eventually stop speaking deeply to anybody. And women need spaces where the conversation can actually be about us.
There's a reason I feel so strongly about that.
The WHO estimates that nearly one in three women has experienced physical or sexual violence in her lifetime — most often at the hands of an intimate partner. And in the United States, the disparity for Black women is something I can't ignore. CDC research covering 2018 through 2021 found that Black women represented about 13.4% of the female population in the analysis — but nearly 30% of female intimate partner homicide victims.
So when I talk about women choosing ourselves, protecting ourselves, healing ourselves, and building wealth for ourselves — I am not talking about hating men.
I'm talking about putting women back into our own lives.
Because for generations, so many of us were taught how to care for everybody else before we were ever taught how to build something of our own.
And that's the other reason Embody Her exists.
I don't only want to tell women you deserve more. I want to teach you the skills and tools to actually build more.
That is why I created Embody Her Collective.
You can sign up for Embody Her for free and access the public experience. But inside the Collective — $27/month — I'm building the educational side of this. My first course is going to teach women how to build their own platform and their own app, because that is exactly what I did.
I built Embody Her as a marketing platform. Every thought post I publish has its own destination, its own conversation, its own URL. Then I create Pinterest content around that idea and send someone directly to it. Pinterest is built for that kind of discovery — it describes itself as a place where people search, save, and shop ideas, where they come to discover new brands and products. And Pinterest prefers full destination links. It actually warns that excessive redirects and link shorteners can be blocked.
That's when it clicked for me.
I can monetize my mind — not by turning every thought into a random product, but by building an ecosystem where my ideas lead to conversations, conversations lead to resources, and the skills I've mastered become things I can teach.
App building. Pinterest. Affiliate marketing. Digital products. Marketing what you already know.
These are learnable skills.
Because creating something is only one part. Knowing how to get in front of the right people is the part so many women were never taught.
That is what I want to change.
Even the self-care products you see woven into these conversations are part of that bigger message. Use the scrub. Take the long shower. Care for your body.
But also care for your ideas. Care for your skills. Care for your financial future.
Self-care is bigger than what we put on our bodies. Sometimes it looks like finally giving yourself the tools to build a life where you no longer have to keep putting yourself last.
That is who I built Embody Her for.
Women who are ready to put themselves back at the center of what they are creating.
