Why I Built My Own Platform

If You're Here, It's Not an Accident Welcome to the very first episode of Embody Her Journal. My name is Dani Marie. I am 39 years old, and in February of 2027, I turn 40. And I have never — not once in my life — felt more like myself than I do right now.

But to understand where I am, you need to know where I've been.

In October of 2021, I lost my husband to cancer. He was my person. And when he passed, my heart broke into a million pieces. I had three daughters who needed me — two teenagers and my eight-year-old, who, I swear, is already going on eighteen. I had no idea how I was going to pick up those pieces. How I was going to put our lives back together.

But here's what I didn't know at the time: my husband had already told me everything I needed to hear.

Before he passed, he told me that I was strong enough. Strong enough to do this. I didn't fully understand what he meant in that moment. But he told me I would experience everything I needed to experience. That I would see, in time, that everything he was saying was true. He knew what was coming. He knew what I was going to have to face. And he knew I could handle it.

I just didn't know yet how strong I was going to need to be. What followed those years — the hustle, the heartbreak, the things I had to face about myself that I wasn't ready to face — those are the stories the next few episodes will tell. I'm taking you through my journey. All of it. Because you need to understand the why behind this platform before we get into everything else.

I Got Tired of the Matrix I'll be direct with you: I got tired. I got tired of living in the matrix. I got tired of chasing the algorithm. I got tired of feeling like I had to constantly show up on social media just to be visible — like my business only existed if I was performing for a platform that didn't even care about me.

I kept saying: there has to be a better way.

And then I started paying attention to the people who had actually built real wealth. The millionaires. The billionaires. They didn't get there because of social media. They built their own platforms. They built a community around those platforms. And that is what they owned.

I realized — I literally have the tools to do the same thing.

So I built it. What you're reading right now, what you're listening to right now — this is the result of that. This is my platform. Built by me. Owned by me. Not rented space on someone else's app.

If I choose to show up on social media, I get to show up as myself. I'm not promoting. I'm not performing. I'm just being me. Do you know how freeing that is? That's freedom. And if you're wondering how anyone finds me — the answer is Pinterest. Pinterest is not social media. It is a search engine, like Google, and it is where products, businesses, and services get discovered every single day by people who are already searching for them. Every thought I post, every episode I publish, every journal entry I write — it has its own link. That link goes to Pinterest. I am not competing with any algorithm. I am creating what I want to create, and letting Pinterest do the work.

This Was Built for Women Anyone is welcome here. I mean that sincerely. But I built this for women. For girls. And I want you to understand why that matters.

Women have been violently attacked. Abused. Manipulated. Gaslit. Burned at the stake. Silenced. For centuries. For thousands of years. And I want you to start asking yourself — why? Why has the woman been suppressed for so long? Why has she been the target of so much violence, so much control, across so much of human history? Why have women — and women of color especially — always been treated as second class?

Here is what I believe with everything in me: women have always held the power. We always have. And that power has always threatened the systems built to contain it.

I know some men hear that and their ego gets in the way. But I need to tell you something about my husband.

Anyone who knew him knew he was machismo. Tough. Egocentric. The classic tough-guy type. And yet — this man looked me in the eyes before he passed and said something that shook me to my absolute core.

"You are so powerful. You are powerful beyond belief — more powerful than I could ever be. The power that lies within you is going to change the world." He knew. He saw it in me. He felt it. When I couldn't feel it myself.

Because for years — for most of our lives — we are brainwashed as women to believe that we don't have a place in this world. Or that our place is in the kitchen. Making babies. Being quiet. Being small. And we have been operating under that conditioning for so long that many of us don't even recognize it anymore.

But that is a lie. And the systems built on that lie are collapsing. Right now. In real time.

The Patriarchy Is Collapsing Look around you. The chaos you see — the unraveling, the upheaval, the breakdown of institutions we were told to trust — all of it is happening because the patriarchy is collapsing. And anything that was not built on truth has only one place it can go. It crumbles. It falls. Because it was never built on a solid foundation.

And in the wake of that collapse, something else is rising.

You are seeing women across every background, every ethnicity, every walk of life starting to wake up. Starting to see. Starting to feel a power inside of them that has always been there — but that has been buried under centuries of suppression. The divine feminine is rising. And there is no stopping it. The vibration is shifting. The frequency is rising. We are in the middle of something far bigger than any algorithm or trending audio or social media platform.

The split is happening. The new earth is here. And this is the moment I want to speak directly to you about:

At the end of August, the beginning of September — the split happens. And I am telling you, right here, right now: this is not a drill. This is the moment. The ones who are doing the work, who are waking up to the truth, who are choosing to raise the vibration of this planet — they will be on the new earth. And that new earth is not coming someday. It is here.

What Shifted in Me Something started shifting inside of me after my husband passed. I didn't see it right away. It took years.

But around this time last year — in 2025 — something cracked open. I started having revelations. I started seeing things clearly that I had never been able to see before. I started paying attention to synchronicities, to signs, to my own intuition in a way I had never trusted before. And it was in that season that I finally understood what my husband had been trying to tell me.

He said: You will experience everything you need to experience. And then you will come back to this conversation — to this moment between us. And you will finally see that everything I told you was true.

I see it now. I am living it now.

We are going to be talking about synchronicities, signs, intuition — all of it — in the episodes ahead. Because if it wasn't for me learning to trust my intuition and pay attention to what was showing up around me, I would be very lost. And for those of you who are just starting to wake up, who are becoming aware, who are starting to see things in a completely new light — I don't want you to miss this. I don't want you to miss the train.
